Ernest H. Powell Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

PATRICK J. URDA JUDGE

This case was previously set for trial at the Court's May 18, 2020, Chicago, Illinois trial session. Due to concerns about COVID-19, that trial session was canceled, and this case was assigned to the undersigned.

On January 14, 2022, the Commissioner filed a status report indicating that the parties are still working together. We will ask for another status report in a couple of months. Accordingly, it is

ORDERED that, on or before April 4, 2022, the parties shall file a joint status report (or separate reports, if that is more expedient) detailing the progress made since the last status report. If this case has not yet settled, the parties should expect to have a conference call with the Court shortly thereafter.
