STEVEN POWELL, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Ronald L. Buch Judge

This case is calendared for trial at the Court's September 30, 2024, Indianapolis, Indiana trial session. On September 25, 2024, the Court held a conference call with the parties to discuss the status of the case. On that call, petitioner informed the Court that additional time is needed to obtain documentation to substantiate some of the items in dispute and requested a continuance. Petitioner also indicated needing to change the place of trial as he does not reside in Indianapolis. The Commissioner did not object to a continuance or to a change in the place of trial, contingent upon receipt of signed Stipulation of Settled Issues and Stipulation of Facts from petitioner. On September 27, 2024, those documents were filed with the Court. Accordingly, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that this case is stricken for trial from the Court's trial session commencing September 30, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is further

ORDERED that this case is continued and restored to the general docket. It is further

ORDERED that place of trial for this case is changed to Richmond, Virginia.
