DANIEL E. SIQUEIRA POU & ERIC POU, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge.

This case is on the Court's October 24, 2022 trial calendar for Atlanta, Georgia. It seems to be mostly about substantiation, but on September 23, 2022 respondent moved without opposition to continue it. We spoke with the parties on September 28 to discuss how to move the case forward. Petitioners agreed to gather what documents they had and send them to respondent's lawyer. The parties will likely need a bit of time for this informal discovery to be completed, so it is

ORDERED that respondent's September 23, 2022 motion for continuance is granted in that this case is stricken from the Court's October 24, 2022 trial calendar. It is also

ORDERED that this division of the Court retains jurisdiction. It is also

ORDERED that on or before December 30, 2022 respondent shall file a status report to describe the parties' progress toward settlement or a narrowing of the issues to be tried.
