NEWT JUSTINE PORTER, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, State.

Appeal from the 227th District Court of Bexar County, Texas (TC# DC2023CR4388)

Before Alley, C.J., Palafox and Soto, JJ.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

Pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 10.4 (a), the motion or matter ruled on through this Order may have been decided by a single Justice sitting on the panel.

The reporter's record was due November 29, 2024, and it has not been received. Therefore, the Court, on its own motion, grants an extension and ORDERS court reporter Mary Beth Sasala to file the report's record on or before December 29, 2024.

Any further extension requests should state the reason(s) for the request and the length of time requested. If the reporter's record or a second extension request is not filed before the deadline, the Court may issue an order abating this cause and remanding to the trial court for a hearing to determine why the reporter's record has not been timely filed.

If Mary Beth Sasala is NOT the reporter for this cause, please notify this office in writing immediately and forward this Order to the substitute reporter(s) so that they may file the reporter's record on or before December 29, 2024.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
