DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from an order and judgment (one paper) of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated July 8, 2020. Motion by Susan Phillips Read, Robert S. Smith, Richard T. Andrias, Marcy L. Kahn, Bernard J. Malone, Jr., and Peter B. Skelos for leave to file an amicus curiae brief.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted; and it is further, ORDERED that the amicus curiae brief shall be served on the parties, and one digital copy of the amicus curiae brief shall be uploaded to the digital portal of this Court's website on or before September 22, 2021; and it is further, ORDERED that no oral argument by the amicus curiae shall be permitted; and it is further, ORDERED that the parties, if they be so advised, may serve and file reply briefs to the amicus curiae brief within 10 days after service upon them of the amici curiae brief.
