Paul Poehler & Patricia E. Poehler Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Patrick J. Urda, Judge

This case was continued from the Court's October 18, 2021, Atlanta, Georgia, remote trial session, and jurisdiction was retained by the undersigned.

On December 21, 2021, the parties filed a joint status report, which indicated that they have reached a settlement in this case. The parties report, however, that since the filing of the petition, petitioner Patricia E. Poehler unexpectedly passed away. The parties are waiting for a personal representative to be appointed to handle the affairs for Mrs. Poehler's estate. Once this occurs, the parties will substitute the estate as a party and proceed with a stipulated decision reflecting their settlement. We will grant the parties until February 22, 2022, to file a stipulated decision document or a status report. Accordingly, it is

ORDERED that, on or before February 22, 2022, the parties shall file a proposed stipulated decision document or a joint status report as to the then-present status of this case.
