Summary
In Plank v. N.Y.C. H.R.R.R. Co. (60 N.Y. 607) the plaintiff's evidence tended to show that "as deceased was engaged in the act of coupling, he stepped into a sluice-way or trench, about two feet wide and deep, which run under the tracks.
