STEVE PINCUS & MARY GOW PINCUS, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Diana L. Leyden Special Trial Judge

This case is calendared for trial at the October 11, 2022, San Francisco, California, remote Trial Session of the Court.

On September 6, 2022, petitioners filed a Motion for Continuance (motion), along with a Declaration of Ana Soares in Support of Motion for Continuance stating that in August 2022 petitioners secured counsel of record and that Petitioner's counsel has a conflict with the Court's October 11, 2022, trial date because she will be out of the country on that date. The motion further states that petitioner's counsel believes the case can be settled and a continuance will allow for settlement negotiations to proceed. Respondent's views on the granting of this motion are unknown. Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that, on or before September 21, 2022, respondent shall file a response to petitioners' motion.
