ORDER OF ABATEMENT

PER CURIAM

This cause is before the Court on appellant's third motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief. Appellant's brief was originally due on November 27, 2023. After two previous extensions, appellant's brief was due to be filed on February 26, 2024.

The Court, having fully examined and considered the extensions previously granted in this cause and the current pending motion is of the opinion that the matter should be abated to allow adequate briefing time. Accordingly, appellant's third motion for extension of time to file the brief is hereby granted in part and denied in part and the matter is abated pending appellant's brief. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Honorable H. Gabi S. Canales, counsel for appellant, file appellant's brief with this Court on or before 5:00 p.m. on April 11, 2024. No further extensions shall be granted absent new and exigent circumstances.
