This case was calendared for trial during the Court's June 5, 2023, Memphis, Tennessee, trial session. On May 5, 2023, respondent filed a Motion for Continuance of Trial (Doc. 10). By Order served May 26, 2023, among other things, respondent's Motion for Continuance of Trial was granted and the undersigned judge retained jurisdiction.
On October 24, 2023, respondent filed a Status Report (Doc. 21) informing the Court that "[r]espondent has not heard from [p]etitioner since the filing of the last status report on September 18, 2023." Upon due consideration, it is hereby
ORDERED that, on or before November 27, 2023, the parties shall file with the Court either a joint report (or, if that is not expedient, then separate reports) describing the status of the case, a stipulated decision document, or any appropriate motion.
