AARON C. PETERS & JODIE M. VENET, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge.

On May 24, 2024, petitioners filed a document titled "Answer to Supplement to Petition". That document consists of a letter from petitioner Aaron C. Peters directed to "Ms. Jacques", who apparently is an employee of the Internal Revenue Service. Petitioners are advised that the Tax Court is separate and independent from the IRS. Documents filed with the Court are served only on respondent's counsel. Communications meant for other IRS personnel must be sent directly to those persons, rather than being filed with the Court.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that petitioners' above-referenced Answer to Supplement to Petition is stricken from the Court's record in this case.
