OPINION
THE COURT
Appellant, Marcus Williams III, pled no contest to assault with a deadly weapon (Pen. Code, § 245, subd.. (a)(1)) and false imprisonment (Pen. Code, § 236) and admitted a prior prison term enhancement (Pen. Code, § 667.5, subd. (b)). On March 20, 2003, the court sentenced appellant to an aggregate term of five years as follows: the upper term of four years on his assault conviction, a one-year prior prison term enhancement, and a concurrent three-year term on his false imprisonment conviction.
Williamss appellate counsel has filed a brief which summarizes the facts, with citations to the record, raises no issues, and asks this court to independently review the record. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436.) However, in a letter filed on June 11, 2002, Williams raises several issues. We have considered these issues and find that there is no merit to any of them.
Further, following independent review of the record we find that no reasonably arguable factual or legal issues exist.
The judgment is affirmed. --------------- Notes: Before Vartabedian, Acting P.J., Wiseman, J., and Cornell, J.
