COA: 221694, Wayne CC: 98-006773, 98-006796

On September 12, 2000, we remanded this matter to the Wayne Circuit Court to determine the date on which defendant filed with Judge Sean F. Cox his motion for reconsideration of the denial of his motion for new trial. Judge Cox's response to the order having been filed, the application for leave to appeal is again considered and, pursuant to MCR 7.302(F)(1), in lieu of granting leave to appeal, we REMAND to the Court of Appeals for plenary consideration. The motions for remand and peremptory reversal are considered and are DENIED as moot. The motion for amendment of the court rules is considered and is DENIED.
