OPINION
On December 5, 2006, Stanislaus County Sheriff deputies found .41 grams of methamphetamine in the pants pocket of appellant, Ronald Edward West. On December 7, 2006, the district attorney filed a complaint charging West with possession of methamphetamine (Health & Saf. Code, § 11377, subd. (a)), possession of a syringe (Bus. & Prof. Code, § 4140), and seven prior prison term enhancements (Pen. Code, § 667.5, subd. (b)).
On January 9, 2007, West pled no contest to possession of methamphetamine and admitted five prior prison term enhancements. In exchange, the prosecutor dismissed the remaining charge and enhancements and West was sentenced that day to a stipulated term of seven years, the middle term of two years on his possession conviction and 5 one-year prior prison term enhancements.
West’s appellate counsel has filed a brief which summarizes the facts, with citations to the record, raises no issues, and asks this court to independently review the record. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436.) West has not responded to this court’s invitation to submit additional briefing.
Following independent review of the record we find that no reasonably arguable factual or legal issues exist.
The judgment is affirmed.
