DECISION & ORDER
Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Rockland County (Kevin F. Russo, J.), rendered October 13, 2020, convicting him of predatory sexual assault of a child, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.
ORDERED that the judgment is affirmed.
Contrary to the defendant's contention, he was not deprived of the effective assistance of counsel (see Strickland v Washington, 466 U.S. 688; People v Benevento, 91 N.Y.2d 708).
The sentence imposed was not excessive (see People v Suitte, 90 A.D.2d 80).
