MOTION DECISION

Present - Hon. Troy K. Webber, Presiding, Justices Anil C. Singh Lizbeth González Martin Shulman Julio Rodriguez III, Justice.

An appeal having been taken to this Court from a judgment of the Supreme Court, New York County, rendered on or about March 16, 2023,

And defendant-appellant, pro se, having moved, pursuant to NYCRR 1250.7(g), to waive certification of the Record on Appeal and, pursuant to CPLR 5525 (c), to waive settlement of the trial transcript, or, in the alternative, for an extension of time in which to perfect the aforesaid appeal and an extension of time to perfect "family/idv appeal,"

Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of extending the time in which to perfect the appeal to this Court from the March 16, 2023 judgment to the May 2024 Term of this Court; otherwise, the motion is denied without prejudice to defendant moving to prosecute said appeal, as a poor person, on the original record and for a free copy of the transcript, and without prejudice to moving in the Appellate Term for relief in connection with any appeal taken to that Court.
