Opinion

THE PEOPLE, Plaintiff and Respondent, v. PEDRO GABRIEL TREJO et al., Defendants and Appellants. B230171 California Court of Appeals, Second District, Second Division February 23, 2012

NOT TO BE PUBLISHED

Los Angeles County Super. Ct. No. VA103146.

ORDER MODIFYING OPINION

THE COURT:

It is ordered that the opinion filed herein on February 7, 2012, be modified as follows:

On page 12, Part II, the second sentence, third line, the word “authorized” should be changed to “unauthorized” so the sentence now reads: Appellants contend the restitution order constitutes an unauthorized sentence, reasoning that because they were acquitted of murder and convicted only of conspiracy to commit murder they did not cause the victim’s family to suffer any economic loss.

There is no change in the judgment.
