People v. Thomas

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
Mar 15, 1999
259 A.D.2d 641 (N.Y. App. Div. 1999)

Opinion

March 15, 1999

Appeal from the County Court, Westchester County (Angiolillo, J.).

Ordered that the judgments are affirmed.

We have reviewed the record and agree with the defendant's assigned counsel that there are no nonfrivolous issues which could be raised on appeal. Counsel's application for leave to withdraw as counsel is granted ( see, Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738; People v. Paige, 54 A.D.2d 631; cf., People v. Gonzalez, 47 N.Y.2d 606). We have also considered the defendant's contentions raised in his pro se brief and find that there are no nonfrivolous issues which could be raised on appeal.

Bracken, J. P., Thompson, Goldstein and McGinity, JJ., concur.
