Christopher M. Murray, Judge, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:

The motion to extend time to file a substitute or supplemental brief on behalf of defendantappellant is GRANTED TO THE EXTENT that the appeal is HELD IN ABEYANCE until May 19, 2023. On or before the expiration of the abeyance period, appellant's counsel shall file a motion to supplement or replace the appellant's brief that is accompanied by the proposed brief or file written notice that appellant intends to proceed with the appellant's brief that has been filed.
