PEOPLE of the State of Michigan, Plaintiff–Appellee, v. Donald Randolph TAYLOR, Defendant–Appellant.


Order

On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal the September 15, 2014 order of the Court of Appeals is considered. We DIRECT the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney to answer the application for leave to appeal within 28 days after the date of this order. The prosecutor shall specifically address the defendant's claim that the trial court erred by sentencing the defendant to upward departing sentences for his armed robbery convictions without stating a substantial and compelling reason for the departure.

The application for leave to appeal remains pending.
