Hearing Granted by Supreme Court April 18, 1939

Appeal from Superior Court, Los Angeles County; Frank M. Smith, Judge.

Anthony Stralla and Harold Adams were indicted for maintaining or occupying a vessel for the purpose of recording or registering bets on horse races, and from a judgment on the court’s decision finding defendant Adams guilty of such offense, he appeals.

Reversed and remanded, with directions.
