In lieu of granting leave to appeal, the judgment of the Court of Appeals is reversed for the reasons stated by the dissenting judge in the Court of Appeals, and the case is remanded to that Court for consideration of the issues raised by the defendant and not addressed by the Court of Appeals in its opinion of October 21, 1997. MCR 7.302(F)(1).
