People v. Standley

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
May 31, 1988
140 A.D.2d 728 (N.Y. App. Div. 1988)

Opinion

May 31, 1988

Appeal from the County Court, Nassau County (Goodman, J.).

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The record on appeal contains no evidence to support the defendant's contention that he was deprived of his constitutional right to the effective assistance of counsel (US Const 6th, 14th Amends; see generally, People v Baldi, 54 N.Y.2d 137). The defendant's remaining contention is without merit. Bracken, J.P., Brown, Weinstein and Rubin, JJ., concur.
