Opinion

PEOPLE of the State of Michigan, Plaintiff-Appellee, v. Jeffrey Allan SNOWDEN, II, Defendant-Appellant.

Order

By order of November 4, 2022, the prosecuting attorney was directed to answer the application for leave to appeal the July 14, 2022 order of the Court of Appeals. On order of the Court, the answer having been received, the application for leave to appeal is again considered. Pursuant to MCR 7.305(H)(1), in lieu of granting leave to appeal, we REMAND this case to the Barry Circuit Court for the ministerial task of correcting the December 8, 2021 order to reflect the fact that the defendant did not plead guilty to violating probation but was instead found guilty after a contested hearing. In all other respects, leave to appeal is DENIED, because we are not persuaded that the remaining questions presented should be reviewed by this Court.
