Robert C. Mitchell, Riverhead, N.Y. (Alfred J. Cicale of counsel), for appellant. Thomas J. Spota, District Attorney, Riverhead, N.Y. (Lauren Tan of counsel), for respondent.

Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the County Court, Suffolk County (Efman, J.), imposed June 15, 2011, on the ground that the sentence was excessive.

ORDERED that the sentence is affirmed.

The defendant's valid waiver of his right to appeal precludes appellate review of his claim that his sentence was excessive ( see People v. Ramos, 7 N.Y.3d 737, 738, 819 N.Y.S.2d 853, 853 N.E.2d 222;People v. Lopez, 6 N.Y.3d 248, 811 N.Y.S.2d 623, 844 N.E.2d 1145).

ENG, P.J., DILLON, CHAMBERS and AUSTIN, JJ., concur.
