MOTION DECISION

REINALDO E. RIVERA, J.P., BETSY BARROS, VALERIE BRATHWAITE NELSON, DEBORAH A. DOWLING, JJ.

DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal by Sekou Shutsha from a purported judgment of the County Court, Nassau County, rendered March 19, 2021. By order to show cause dated April 26, 2021, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why the appeal should or should not be dismissed on the ground that no judgment of the County Court, Nassau County, was rendered March 19, 2021, in the above-entitled action. Motion by appellant pro se for leave to appeal to this Court from the purported judgment rendered March 19, 2021, and for poor person relief, and the assignment of counsel.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in opposition thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further, ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal to this Court from the purported judgment rendered March 19, 2021, is denied; and it is further, ORDERED that the appellant's motion is otherwise denied as academic.

RIVERA, J.P., BARROS, BRATHWAITE NELSON and DOWLING, JJ., concur.
