Attorney Regulation.

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved the parties' Conditional Admission of Misconduct and suspended Respondent Jim D. Rogers, attorney registration number 17964, from the practice of law in the State of Colorado effective July 8, 2004 for a period of thirty days, all stayed upon successful completion of a one-year period of probation. By assisting his client with the preparation and filing of a pleading after he had been disqualified from further representation, Respondent violated Colo. RPC 8.4(d). By writing a letter to opposing counsel on behalf of his client, in addition to assisting his client with filing the motion subsequent to the disqualification order and denial of his request for a stay, the Respondent acted in contravention of the court's authority and violated Colo. RPC 3.4(c) with grounds for discipline under C.R.C.P. 251.5. Respondent was ordered to pay the costs incurred in this proceeding and comply with other conditions.
