PEOPLE v. RODRIGUEZ (LUIS JESUS)

Motion to file document under seal denied

Appellant's “Motion for Permission to File an Unredacted Opening Brief Under Seal, for an Order Maintaining Confidentiality of Sealed Transcript of Ex Parte Hearing and for a Protective Order,” filed on April 4, 2023, is denied. This denial is without prejudice to filing a renewed motion, if appellant chooses to do so, that is supported by a declaration containing specific “facts sufficient to justify an order maintaining the confidentiality of the relevant material” as to both the public and the respondent. (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 8.47(b)(3)(B); see also rule 8.47(b)(3)(D).)
