Attorney Regulation.

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Ronald Lawrence Roberts (Attorney Registration No. 21459) from the practice of law for a period of one year and one day, effective October 27, 2009. Respondent knowingly failed to act with reasonable diligence in several client matters, knowingly failed to communicate with his clients, knowingly failed to withdraw from client matters, and knowingly violated court orders. His failure to act with reasonable diligence led to a significant default judgment against a client and the dismissal of another lawsuit. Respondent's misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 1.3, 1.4, 1.16(a), and 3.4(c).
