DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
Motion by the appellant's assigned counsel to abate appeals from two sentences of the County Court, Rockland County, both imposed March 6, 2018, upon the death of the appellant on July 17, 2021.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to abate the appeals is granted, the appeals are dismissed, and the matter is remitted to the County Court, Rockland County, for further proceedings consistent with People v Mintz (20 N.Y.2d 770).
