Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Mackenzie, J.), rendered October 17, 2001, convicting him of grand larceny in the fourth degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.

Counsel's application for leave to withdraw as counsel is granted (see Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738; People v. Paige, 54 A.D.2d 631; cf. People v. Gonzalez, 47 N.Y.2d 606).
