Attorney Regulation.

The Presiding Disciplinary Judge approved a Conditional Admission of Misconduct submitted by the parties and suspended Michael John Reed (Attorney Registration No. 36398) from the practice of law for a period of three years, effective August 25, 2010. Respondent failed to diligently represent or adequately communicate with sixteen clients. He also failed to return unearned funds and failed to protect his clients' interests following termination of the representation in a number of these matters. All of this misconduct occurred after Respondent began experiencing seizures, feelings of exhaustion, and difficulty concentrating following an automobile accident in 2007. Nevertheless, his misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5 and violated Colo. RPC 1.3, 1.4, 1.15(a), 1.15(b), 1.16(d), and 8.4(c).
