People v. Plaza

Supreme Court of Michigan
Jan 23, 2002
465 Mich. 950 (Mich. 2002)

Opinion

No. 119849.

January 23, 2002.

COA: 234228, Lenawee CC: 98-008172-FC

On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal from the July 18, 2001 order of the Court of Appeals is considered, and it is DENIED because the defendant has failed to meet the burden of establishing entitlement to relief under MCR 6.508(D).

Cavanagh, Weaver, and Kelly, JJ., would deny leave to appeal without prejudice to the defendant's option of requesting copies of his plea and sentencing transcripts pursuant to MCR 6.433(C).
