An appeal having been taken from an order of the Supreme Court, New York County entered on or about April 27, 2017, And, counsel for defendant-appellant having moved for an order dismissing the SORA appeal, reversing the aforesaid order and dismissing the proceeding because defendant is deceased, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon,It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of dismissing the appeal, and is otherwise denied.
