(Super. Ct. No. 1348875)

(Santa Barbara County)

Pedro Villa Perez appeals a judgment entered after his guilty plea to transporting methamphetamine for sale into noncontiguous counties (count 3). (Health & Saf. Code, § 11379, subd. (b).) According to a plea agreement, the trial court imposed a nine-year prison term. The court also imposed a $1,800 restitution fine, a $1,800 probation revocation restitution fine (stayed), a $40 court security fee, and it awarded Perez 336 days of presentence custody credit. (Pen. Code, §§ 1202.4, subd. (b), 1202.44, 1465.8.) In accordance with Perez's plea bargain, the court dismissed five remaining counts regarding the possession, sale, and transportation of methamphetamine and cocaine.

Within two months of sentencing, Perez moved to recall the sentence and he requested a certificate of probable cause. Perez claimed that he misunderstood the nature of his plea and that he received ineffective representation by counsel. The trial court denied Perez's request for a certificate of probable cause.

We appointed counsel to represent Perez in this appeal. After counsel's examination of the record, he filed an opening brief raising no issues.

On June 27, 2011, we advised Perez that he had 30 days within which to personally submit any contentions or issues that he wished to raise on appeal. We have not received a response.

We have reviewed the entire record and are satisfied that Perez's attorney has fully complied with his responsibilities and that no arguable issue exists. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436, 441.)

The judgment is affirmed.
