People v. Parker

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
Feb 6, 1984
99 A.D.2d 761 (N.Y. App. Div. 1984)

Opinion

February 6, 1984

Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Coutant, J.), rendered August 21, 1981, convicting him of assault in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. Judgment affirmed. Under the circumstances of this case, defendant's claim that he was denied the effective assistance of counsel is without merit (see People v Baldi, 54 N.Y.2d 137). Gibbons, J.P., Bracken, Brown and Niehoff, JJ., concur.
