OPINION

THE COURT APPEAL from an order of the Superior Court of Fresno County. Denise Lee Whitehead, Judge. Randall Conner, under appointment by the Court of Appeal, for Defendant and Appellant. Office of the State Attorney General, Sacramento, California, for Plaintiff and Respondent.

Appointed counsel for minor N.W. asked this court to review the record to determine whether there are any arguable issues on appeal. (People v. Wende (1979) 25 Cal.3d 436 (Wende).) Minor was advised of his right to file a supplemental brief within 30 days of the date of filing of the opening brief. More than 30 days elapsed and we received no communication from minor. Finding no arguable error that would result in a disposition more favorable to minor, we affirm the juvenile court's findings and orders.

We provide the following brief description of the facts and procedural history of the case. (See People v. Kelly (2006) 40 Cal.4th 106, 110, 124.)

On May 15, 2016, minor's mother confronted minor about stealing approximately 50 hydrocodone and 150 tramadol pills from her safe. Minor responded by smashing his bedroom door. Officers arrested minor, who admitted taking three hydrocodone pills from the safe.

On September 8, 2016, a petition was filed pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 602, alleging that minor had committed misdemeanor vandalism (Pen. Code, § 594, subd. (b)(2)(A); count 1).

All statutory references are to the Penal Code unless otherwise noted. --------

On December 6, 2016, minor admitted the allegation.

On December 28, 2016, the juvenile court declared minor a ward of the court and placed him on probation for one year. The court ordered him to participate in outpatient drug addiction treatment services and perform five days of community service.

On April 25, 2017, minor admitted violating probation by failing to complete the substance abuse program; testing positive for marijuana, opiates, and methamphetamine; and failing to attend school as directed.

On May 8, 2017, the juvenile court maintained minor on probation. The court committed him to a substance abuse program for 180 days, and granted credit for 14 days against his one-year maximum confinement.

On February 1, 2018, minor admitted violating probation by failing to refrain from the use of illegal narcotics. He had been using alcohol, marijuana, muscle relaxants, methamphetamine, and heroin on a regular basis. The juvenile court maintained minor on probation and committed him to the Juvenile Justice Center for 168 days, with probation to terminate upon his release on July 19, 2018. The court awarded 197 days of credit against minor's one-year maximum confinement.

Having undertaken an examination of the entire record, we find no evidence of ineffective assistance of counsel or any other arguable error that would result in a disposition more favorable to minor.

DISPOSITION

The findings and orders of the juvenile court are affirmed.
