The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v. Jose Nunez, Defendant-Appellant.
An appeal having been taken from a judgment of the Supreme Court, New York County, rendered on or about August 17, 2016, This Court, by orders entered July 1, 2016 and December 22, 2016, initially granted bail pending sentencing and released defendant on $100,000 insurance company bond, and thereafter extended the stay of execution of sentence pending hearing and determination of the appeal, And defendant having moved for an order continuing the stay of execution of sentence, and bail, pending the hearing and determination of the appeal, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of enlarging defendant-appellant's time to perfect the appeal to the April 2018 Term, and extending the previously granted stay of execution of the sentence and bail under the original terms and conditions, and on the further condition defendant-appellant perfects the appeal for the April 2018 Term.
