Paul Skip Laisure, New York, NY (Yvonne Shivers of counsel), for appellant.
Eric Gonzalez, District Attorney, Brooklyn, NY (Leonard Joblove and Jean M. Joyce of counsel; Marielle Burnett on the memorandum), for respondent.
DECISION & ORDER
Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Matthew D'Emic, J.), imposed June 22, 2017, upon his plea of guilty, on the ground that the period of postrelease supervision imposed as part of the sentence was excessive.
ORDERED that the sentence is affirmed.
Contrary to the defendant's contention, the period of postrelease supervision imposed as part of his sentence was not excessive (see People v Suitte , 90 AD2d 80).
