PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN v. ADAM FOWLER MURRAY

LC No. 2023-006254-FH

Allie Greenleaf Maldonado Presiding Judge, James Robert Redford, Michelle M. Rick Judges

ORDER

The application for leave to appeal is GRANTED. The time for taking further steps in this appeal runs from the date of the Clerk's certification of this order. MCR 7.205(E)(3). This appeal is limited to the issues raised in the application and supporting brief. MCR 7.205(E)(4).

Redford, J., would deny the application for leave to appeal the out-of-guidelines sentence imposed by the trial court. The May 7, 2024 transcript of defendant's sentencing, at p 20/Line 5 through p 25/Line 16, in conjunction with the "Description of Offense Narrative" in the PSIR more than adequately, in my estimation, justify the departure from the sentencing guidelines and the sentence imposed.
