THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK Respondent, v. GERMAINE MONTES, Appellant.


DECISION AND ORDER ON MOTION

Motion to reduce the amount of bail set by order of this Court, entered August 17, 2018, which granted an application pursuant to CPL 460.50 to stay execution of judgment of County Court, Albany County, rendered August 1, 2018, pending appeal upon the posting of $50,000 cash or insurance company bail bond.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted, and bail is set at $20,000 cash or insurance company bail bond, and it is further

ORDERED that defendant shall inform this Court within 24 hours in the event he is charged with violating any provision of the Penal Law or Vehicle and Traffic Law, and it is further

ORDERED that defendant shall remain within the State of New York at all times during the pendency of his appeal, and it is further

ORDERED that defendant shall surrender any passport possessed by him to the Clerk of the Court, and it is further

ORDERED that the time to perfect the appeal is extended to January 31, 2019.
