ORDER

Elizabeth L. Gleicher, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:

The motion to hold in abeyance is DENIED.

On the Court's own motion, the time for filing appellant's brief shall be extended for 56 days from the date of the trial court's order appointing substitute counsel, MCR 7.212(A)(1)(a)(iii), or for 28 days following the entry of an order denying the motion to appoint substitute counsel, whichever is later.

Attorney Jacqueline McCann is directed to forward a copy of the order granting or denying her motion to appoint substitute counsel to this Court as soon as possible.
