Disposition of Petitions for Leave to Appeal Denied with order.

In the exercise of this court's supervisory authority, the appellate court is directed to vacate that portion of its judgment which affirmed defendant's sentence and remand the cause to the circuit court of Cook County with directions that defendant be sentenced to a term of between 6 and 30 years, in accordance with section 18-2 of the Criminal Code of 1961 ( 720 ILCS 5/18-2 (West 1998)), as it existed prior to being amended by Public Act 91-404, eff. January 1, 2000.
