PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN v. MICHAEL KEVIN MITCHELL

LC No. 23-001557-01-FH

Christopher P. Yates, Presiding Judge, Kathleen Jansen, Michael J. Riordan, Judges

ORDER

The motion for immediate consideration is GRANTED.

As to the trial court's January 18, 2024 order denying defendant's motion to quash, the application for leave to appeal is DENIED for lack of merit in the grounds presented. See People v Yost, 468 Mich. 122,124 n 2; 659 N.W.2d 604 (2003).

In all other respects, the application for leave to appeal is DENIED for failure to persuade the Court of the need for immediate appellate review.

The motions for stay pending appeal and to waive the related transcript production requirement under MCR 7.209(A)(3) are DENIED as moot.
