Orders of this Court having been entered on March 26, 2019 (M-539 & M-541) granting defendant leave to prosecute, as a poor person, the appeals from judgments of the Supreme Court, New York County, each rendered on or about November 07, 2018, and assigning Janet E. Sabel, Esq., as predecessor to Twyla Carter, Esq., The Legal Aid Society, as counsel to prosecute the appeals; and motions having been made with respect to each appeal by assigned counsel to be relieved as such counsel, or, in the alternative, to dismiss the appeals without prejudice (Motion Nos. 2023-01006 and 2022-01007), Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon (Motion Nos. 2023-01006 and 2022-01007), It is ordered that the motions are granted to the extent of deeming the appeals withdrawn.
