ORDER

AMY RONAYNE KRAUSE PRESIDING JUDGE

Pursuant to the February 2, 2022 order of the Michigan Supreme Court, reconsideration of this Court's denial of the delayed application for leave to appeal in this matter is HELD IN ABEYANCE until this Court decides the appeal in In re Micah Melchizedek Daniel, Court of Appeals Docket Number 334057, which is also pending on remand from the Supreme Court. Thereafter, we will reconsider the decision in this Court's May 4, 2016 order in accordance with the Supreme Court order.

Further, it appearing that the appointed appellate counsel who formerly represented defendant in this matter has retired, this case is REMANDED to the trial court to appoint substitute appellate counsel for defendant in this matter within 14 days after the date of this order. The trial court shall send a copy of the order appointing substitute counsel to this Court within seven days after entry.

This Court retains jurisdiction.
