SC: 122014, COA: 231977.

Summary Disposition.

In lieu of granting leave to appeal, the case is remanded to the Court of Appeals to consider whether the Macomb Circuit Court abused its discretion in concluding that defendant's custodial statements were involuntary, and whether defendant was required to testify in order to preserve his challenge to the trial court ruling that his custodial statements, although inadmissible as substantive evidence, could be used for impeachment purposes. People v. Boyd, 470 Mich 363, 375 n 9 (2004). MCR 7.302(G)(1). Jurisdiction is retained.
