PEOPLE v. KILE

Supreme Court of Michigan
Apr 22, 1997
562 N.W.2d 787 (Mich. 1997)

Opinion

No. 108479.

April 22, 1997.

Summary Dispositions April 22, 1997:

The case is remanded to the Court of Appeals for clarification of its order dated December 4, 1996. The order appears to disavow consideration of "`media reports,' defendant's criminal history, and the finding of marijuana in his trash on the very date the warrant was sought and issued. . . ." On remand, the Court of Appeals is to indicate what remaining information in the affidavit was sufficient to support the issuance of the search warrant. Jurisdiction is retained.

Court of Appeals No. 187958.
