'A finding is against the manifest weight of the evidence where the opposite conclusion is clearly evident or if the finding itself is unreasonable, arbitrary, or not based on the evidence presented.'" People v. Jordan, 2019 IL App (4th) 190223, ¶ 32, 160 N.E.3d 1006 (quoting People v. Peterson, 2017 IL 120331, ¶ 39, 106 N.E.3d 944). We defer to the court's factual findings because it "is in a superior position to determine and weigh the credibility of witnesses, observe the witnesses' demeanor, and resolve conflicts in their testimony."
