Disposition of Petitions for Leave to Appeal Denied with order.

In the exercise of this court's supervisory authority, the Appellate Court, First District, is directed to vacate its judgment in People v. Jones, No. 1-03-2229 (August 19, 2004), and is directed to reconsider its judgment in light of this court's decisions in People v. Shellstrom, 216 Ill. 2d 45 (2005), and People v. Pearson, 216 Ill. 2d 58 (2005). The appellate court is specifically directed to consider whether the pleading filed in this case was recharacterized by the circuit court as a postconviction petition.
